I’m obsessed with TV shows about weddings and wedding dresses even though I’m not the kind of girl that plans her wedding even though she’s single. The sound of metal scraping against metal makes me cringe and is one of the reasons why I hate washing dishes.Ģ4. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and it’s not because of the presents! I just love the lights and music.Ģ3. I love to dance salsa even though I’m not that great at it.Ģ2. It was really hard not to go all fan girl on him.Ģ1. Years later I met Lance Bass while working at a performing arts theatre in California. I told a cheesy joke in a radio competition to win those concert tickets.Ģ0. First time I played pool, I got hit in the head with a pool stick and almost needed stitches.ħ. As a kid I was really afraid of Dennis Rodman (don’t ask me why, maybe it was the hair that freaked me out).Ħ. My first international trip was to Haiti. I have German ancestors on my mom’s side of the family and French ones from my dad’s side.Ĥ. Now, without any further ado, here are 100 really random facts about me in no particular order that will make any sense.ģ. That you’ll get to know me a little better, and in the end feel compelled to tell me about yourself so I can get to know you too! I truly do love connecting with my readers. And if there’s one thing that I’ve learned in my last two years of traveling and blogging, it’s that being open to sharing things about yourself and your life is the easiest way to connect with other people. While I don’t see that changing anytime soon, part of the reason why I started She Dreams of Travel was to connect with other people who want to see the world just like I do. I do realize that basically everything on this blog is in some way about me or my experiences, but other than the occasionally super personal post/rant about my life, everything I write is related to travel. Now, before you start rolling your eyes and calling me a narcissist, hear me out! I went through a lot of ideas before deciding on this one, and what sold me on it was the realization that I don’t talk about myself enough on here.
I AM PROUD OF MYSELF!Ī few weeks ago when I realized that my 100 th post was coming up soon, I started to think about what I could possibly do to commemorate this milestone. Despite all the hard work, I love blogging, and now that my 100 th post is finally here, I’m going to bask in the glory of this accomplishment. I knew I would make it here because when I started She Dreams of Travel, I knew I’d be in it for the long haul. I would be lying if I tried to take the humble route right now and say that I can’t believe I made it this far. This post is not only my 100 th post here on She Dreams of Travel, but it also marks my two-year blogiversarry! I swear I didn’t plan it out this way. This post, this very post, which your eyes are gazing upon right now, this is… *drumroll please* MY 100 TH POST!!! Ahhh!! You probably already knew that from the title, and I obviously already knew it too, but please allow me five seconds to freak out over this milestone that has taken me exactly two years to reach.
